Emma L. Parish PhD
Emma Parish is the Founder and Owner of Indigo Presence, and having been trained under Doreen Virtue to become a certified Angel Therapy Practitioner® & Medium, she works as an advisor for 12Angel.com.
She has been practicing spiritual healing since 1991, and is a spiritual teacher with a PhD in Pastoral Hypnotherapy from the American Board of Hypnosis. Emma believes in providing integrated healing to each client through various types of therapy, including Reiki therapy, Hypnotherapy, Integrated Energy Therapy, Yoga training and Past Life Regression Therapy.

Do you have a personal statement that best describes you?
- I am an Indigo on a mission to help and heal the world and all life on our planet
Do you have a motto or favorite quote that guides you?
- The Spirit who believes and is unafraid to try, is the first to learn to fly
When and how did you first discover you had the gift to help people?
- I have had the gift of healing since I was a toddler, my Grandfather used to get headaches and I could heal him by putting my hands on his head. My name “Emma” means “one who heals the universe!”
- I was born and raised in England. I went to a Catholic Boarding School for girls where I was not allowed to share my gifts. I moved to the states in 1993, it was really hard for me here at first. I was teased and considered weird. My Irish family calls me an old soul! I knew I was different but I didn’t know I was an Indigo till much later. At the moment I live in San Francisco but I am about to move to Australia for a year or two. I want to travel all over the world giving healings to whoever wants them and teaching to whoever wants to learn.
How did you get started in this business?
- I have always had a passion for helping and healing people. I wondered how I could help people full time instead of on the side whenever I had time. I knew the corporate world was not for me, I asked God for help when I heard about the Hay House I can do it Conference in October 2006. I went and that lead me to Doreen virtue’s workshops which gave me the confidence to do what I do what a living instead just for family and friends.
Do you have any advanced degrees or specialized training?
- I have a PhD in Holistic Hypnotherapy and Healing, I am a certified Angel Therapy Practitioner®, Medium, Reiki Master, and Yoga Teacher.
Do you offer special services or insights that customers might find helpful?
- I provide several different forms of healing depending on the individual needs of my client. I work with Reiki energy for the body, I help people communicate with lost loved ones. I prefer to teach my clients what I know so they can help themselves, so they can hear their guides and Angels more clearly. I do past life regressions for clients that can’t explain some things that are going on in their lives. My main passion is to help Indigo Crystal and Rainbow Children teens and young adults.
Do you do any charity or non-profit work?
- I volunteer with the homeless and I donate 10% of my business earnings to Charity each year.
Why do you love what you do?
- I love what I do because when I am able to help someone who is hurting in some way I feel so close to God energy. We are all god energy, it’s just usually we don’t notice till something is going wrong. I feel so connected to the Universe. It’s a very strong loud calling indeed.
What times are you usually available?
- I am available at different times each day usually weekday evenings and lunch times. Appointments are the best way to receive healings and readings from me.
Do you have any other projects, books or multimedia that you'd like to inform us of?
- I sell Chakra Clearing CD’s and MP3’s for Adults and Children on my website. I am also in the process of writing a book for Indigo’s.
